Home Jane has officially launched in Manchester!

Beginning with plumbing, plastering and painting and decorating services, we will be expanding soon to include other areas of property maintenance.

If you know anyone in the Manchester area who might be able to use our services, please help spread the word!

Additionally, we are actively recruiting tradeswomen in Manchester, so we encourage anyone who may be interested in working with us to have a look at the "become a jane" section of the website and/or contact us.

Home Jane Joins the Federation of Master Builders - 26/06/2008

Home Jane has become a member of the Federation of Master Builders.

The FMB is a trade association for small and medium-sized building firms.

Its members must meet quality standards and are regularly checked out.

Membership in the Federation of Master Builders recognises the quality service provided by Home Jane and gives our customers the additional peace of mind that comes from knowing they are using a recognised firm.

Interior designer joins Home Jane - 14/05/2008

Home Jane is pleased to announce that we have now taken on an interior designer.

This allows us to be even more of an all-inclusive service for our clients' larger projects, from single room redecorations to full flat refurbishments.

Working with our clients from the early planning stages to project completion, our interior design service covers design consultation, project management and sourcing.

Our interior designer has an eco-conscious philosophy, offering clients to implement eco-friendly solutions where appropriate.




Raising the Roof - 30/03/2008

Home Jane was recently featured in a new documentary about women in the trades.

"Raising the Roof", a film by Anne-Marie Sweeney, explores the challenges women face in the modern construction and trade industries.

Our Managing Director, Jo Behari, and several of our tradeswomen were featured in the documentary.

The film was produced for JIVE at Oxford Women's Training, a JIVE partner at OCVC.
